Acoustic 80s

Bringing the nostalgic tunes of the ’80s back to life, we are an Adelaide acoustic duo playing all your favourite ’80s songs. With our blend of acoustic guitar and female vocals, we reimagine 80s hits in a chilled, laid-back style.

We consist of Cindy-Anne Macdonald (vocals) and Allan Ward (guitar), two music lovers in our 50s who spent the best years of our lives dancing and jamming to the tunes of the 1980s. Our specialty? Stripped-back, chilled-out acoustic covers of the decade’s biggest hits. 

We love the ’80s – as Generation Xers ourselves, these songs were the soundtrack to our lives, and now we are thrilled to share our love for this music with our fellow ’80s fans. If you have fond memories of artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Tears For Fears, Bon Jovi, and Cold Chisel, then you’re in for a treat!

We spent the first part of the ’80s in high school and remember the era well. From Countdown to MTV, Australian Crawl to Duran Duran, Desert Boots to Doc Martins, and Walkmans to Turntables, we remember! And don’t get us started about Blue Light Discos and the Adelaide Skyshow (or Black Thunders).
